PODS Gallery

We are hosting PODS GALLERY to provide A&AA students with an opportunity to show their work. If you would like to submit your artwork for consideration, please see the requirements below.

Gallery Submission Details:
• Artwork will be exhibited on the second floor of Lawrence Hall, across from PODS office (264 LA)
• Duration of hanging will vary depending on availability of space (one week to an academic term)
• The artist will distribute invitations to the opening reception. PODS will host and provide refreshments for the opening reception.

Requirements:
Who: Artist must be a student who is either majoring or minoring in one of the School of Architecture & Allied Arts disciplines

What:
To be considered for showing in the gallery, you must submit…
1. a minimum of three works of art (to be displayed together)
2. an artist statement (if you have never written one, PODS has a handout to help you get started – ask us)
3. pricing for each piece of artwork
4. a signed liability form (available from the PODS office)

How: Submit your artwork digitally (in PowerPoint or PDF) with dimensions of each piece to cbanawa@uoregon.edu. The PODS staff will evaluate and select work to be displayed in the gallery.

When: Submissions accepted on a rolling basis.

Bring your draft portfolios, get feedback on both on-line and book form.

Scott Huette, Lead Instructor on Portfolios for PODS, and Lucas Posada, Designer - GBD Architects He will be coming at 11am and is available to do a couple of individual portfolio reviews.
