Jenna Soard, Adjunct Instructor
p: (541) 346-2621
e: jsoard@uoregon.edu
First Job: I started my first business in the third grade, creating Plaster of Paris heart pins for Valentine’s Day that said “Love” on them. I painted them red and glazed them in the oven. I sold them for 50 cents a piece. My first licensed business happened when I was 16, where I designed and printed all of the shirts for my high school sports teams, and raised money for Students and Teachers Against Racism. I used my business as a plot to get voted in as Senior Class Secretary so I could win 100% of the school’s t-shirt needs. I made enough money to buy myself a newer car, from Datsun 210 to Ford Escort Wagon, which of course was a station wagon to lug my shirts around in!
