    Join artists Sisy Anderson and Scott Huette for the opening of Opposites in Harmony which explores the Inward & Outward, the Feminine & Masculine, and the Magnetic & Dynamic flow of energies.

    Along with paintings and photographs from each artist, the show features an installation created collaboratively by Scott and Sisy. “Remembrances” showcases three 8 foot handmade scrolls each a hand painted photograph on rice paper.

    A potluck reception will celebrate the Spring Equinox at Rose Springs Center with a life-size stone circle meditation, shamanic drumming and live music by Columbia River Music Circle.

    The Oregon Arts Commission announces an informal “Meet & Greet” with newly appointed Commissioner Libby Tower of Eugene.

    The “Meet & Greet” will be held:

    6:30 – 8 pm

    Eugene Water & Electric Board

    500 E 4th Avenue

    Eugene, OR 97440

    Attendees will have an opportunity to hear about the Arts Commission’s grants and programs, introduce themselves to others present, ask questions about the Commission’s services and suggest ways the Arts Commission can better serve them.

    The Meet & Greet is a free event; open to artists, arts organization boards and staffs and arts supporters in the Eugene/Springfield area.

    We were asked to create a 2-4 minute biographical video for my Advanced Information Design and Presentation class. The video below shows my journey as an arts administrator from musician to preparator to curator to an Arts & Administration Master’s Candidate at the University of Oregon. All of the music used has been credited to the performers and the images are from my personal collection. ENJOY!

    Art Work: A National Conversation About Art, Labor, & Economics

    The newspaper is distributed for free at sites and from people throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. It is also available by mail order from Half Letter Press for the cost of postage.
